Paint the pavement environmental branding 2 1

Paint the Pavement Mural

BWP was proud to work with the Salt Lake City Division of Transportation for their “Paint the Pavement” program in conjunction with UTA to conceptualize, finalize and implement a painted mural at the new bus stop on 900 South and 500 East.  Shown here are photos of the finished product as well as initial sketches and concepts. We would like to make a shout out to our talented artist, Alexis Rose.

The concept: Urban to the Organic
Car tires, human shoe prints, and a background with shades of grey geometric patterns transforms from North to South on the Bus Stop pavement into a colorful, organic footprint of bare human feet, animal prints, and bike tire prints. This captures the essence of man leaving the urban world of cars and buildings, to the green freedom of Liberty Park. Complete with dog, duck, cats, geese, bird, and fox paw prints to guide the public in the direction of the park.

BWP is excited to continue our contribution to the branding and beautification of our beautiful downtown capital city by working with various agencies and organizations such as the Division of Transportation, Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City Economic Development Corporation, and many others.
