Sinclair Oil Company In-depth, qualitative research was conducted to gain insights and understanding of customers in corresponding markets. The research showed that people were concerned about foreign oil resources. A campaign was developed to underscore the fact that the Sinclair Oil did not buy middle-eastern crude. The company's production and distribution was entirely located in the U.S. The campaign included television, radio, outdoor and print.
